Hundreds of Cubans attend the 36th International Tourism Fair FITCuba 2016, which shows to the public the developments of the sector.
First vice president of the Business Group Viajes Cuba, Pilar Alvarez, said that this is a very special day due to the growing demand by local people of the recreational programs offered by the Ministry of Tourism.
This edition of FITCuba also promotes domestic tourism.
One of the issues addressed by the authorities is the recreation of the Cuban families and their main recreational opportunity, which is the camping system, with 92 camping sites throughout the country.
FITCuba officially concluded on Friday, but the activities continue today and many delegates and foreign journalists visit different tourist sites in western Cuba.
