This July 28, Venezuela commemorates the birth of the Commander of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chavez. Events will be held at the Cuartel de la Montaña, in Caracas, where is sown the Socialist leader, said on Monday the mayor o Caracas, Jorge Rodriguez.
Rodriguez said the events will begin with the laying of a wreath at 8:00 am, followed by forums and other activities. Later, at 5:00 pm, the main event will be held to honor the life of Commander Chavez, who devoted himself to dignify the people and to vindicate the popular struggles.
“We take a cheerful Chavez, the happy Chavez, taking his word of redemption, the one that always had an outstretched hand to those hearts that lead and continue their struggle he left us,” said Rodriguez in a press conference at the United Socialist Party of Venezuela.
Hugo Chavez was born on July 28, 1954 in Sabaneta, located in the savannas of Barinas State. His political and social vision paved the way for the transformation of Venezuela, to trace the path of the Revolution.
