The Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Keith Rowley, will be taking a ‘private weekend trip’ to Barbados this weekend.
According to a statement issued by the Office of the Prime Minister on Friday, Dr Rowley leaves on will leave on Friday and returns to office on Monday.
The statement added that the trip was paid for by Dr Rowley and not the state.
In Dr Rowley’s absence, Finance Minister Colm Imbert will act as Prime Minister.
The PM and his wife visited Matelot on Saturday and went to Toco on Sunday.
