Dear brothers and sisters,

The Fidel Castro Colloquium will be held at the Cave Hill Campus of the UWI, Barbados, (the Clico Building — lecture theatre 4) scheduled for Friday 24th and Saturday 25th November 2017, commencing at 9am each day.

This event is free of cost, and will feature a high powered delegation that is coming in directly from Cuba.

One of the most distinguished presenters will be Dr. Jose Ramon Balaguer — Head of the  International Relations Department of The Communist Party of  Cuba; member of the Political Bureau and The Council of State ; and Cuba’s Former Minister of Health.

Dr. Balaguer is one of six members of the Cuban government designated by Fidel Castro himself when he made his transfer of governmental duties in 2006.

Dr. Balaguer is regarded as a true hero of the Cuban revolution.

The theme of the colloquium is: “The Legacy of Fidel Castro”

 We also invite you to be at de AJA Unity Concert on Friday, November 24 at the Silver Hill Hard Courts at 7 p.m.

Please join us as we celebrate the life and contribution of this giant of a man who gave so much to the world.
