A 4.6 magnitude earthquake was felt this Wednesday at 12:13 am in the islands of Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago with a depth of 10 kms and located latitude / longitude: 11.57°N / 60.99°W, according to the Trinidad-based Seismic Centre (SRC) of the University of the West Indies (UWI).
The SRC has reported that the quake was felt 51 kilometres (km) north west of Scarborough in Tobago, and 108 km north, north east of Arima in East Trinidad. It was also detected at 99 km south east of St Georg’s Grenada.
Some Grenadians citizens said they felt the tremor and shaking of buildings.
No casualties or damage have been reported.
